Absolutely. There was a large increase in data monitoring and data observability startups that entered the space in 2022. I suspect we will see similar in 2023.

Overall this is a good trend for data teams but I would caution folks to not only evaluate anomaly detection capabilities, but resolution capabilities like field-level data lineage, as well as preventative features like SLA tracking for data freshness.
